The radio station I listen to cranks out the cheesy pop tunes until I'm ready to explode some one/thing. Does this give me permission to send them hatemail until they play some REAL music? (and it is the only radio station in the area, besides classical)

so after watching tv today, i saw a slew of comercials that were the final straw. i've had enough of the idea that sex and stars sell...so i'm going to ween myself off pepsi and coke, m&m's and lays, colgate and oral-b, and go for non-commercial stuff...not because i think it's really going to make a difference...but just so i have a clear concience or w/e...so living in a small town, what is there for me to buy? i'll probably end up eating healthier, since there's really only healthy food here that isn't comericalized with all that shit...so suggestions on what i can do for food, without traveling, and without freeking out my parents would be nice...thanks
oh and i guess it's possible i'm going a bit over board, but i do...

I own all this awesome modern purple furniture, but my realitor just showed me a house decorated in traditional hunter green. Think I'll be able to make it work, or should I not even think about it? I can't afford to have carpets and wallpaper replaced, but I really like this house.

In my A level Chemistry class there are only about 10 of us. One of those 10 is not happy with me for reasons I shall now describe.None of her friends will listen to my side.
At a 6th form party she majorly fell for this guy I know.In school the next day she was OBSESSING about him,disecting text messages and talking about him constantly.
I am friends with the guy's brother (and to a lesser degree the guy). She gave me strict instructions not to talk to the guy about her and so I didn't.I did however have a very short conversation with one of my friends and the brother.All we said was that she had been talking about him a lot and dissecting his text messages.

Parents and College

My parents want me to go to a state college just because it's cheaper. I want to go to a private university because I like the opportunities they have better and it provides a more Christian atmosphere. My parents don't seem to understand that idea, they just think it's all about the money. I'm willing to pay everything, loans included, and I'm going to get a crapload of scholarships because I'm fairly intelligent. But my parents don't understand that. What should I do?

I was asked to bring a "nice traditional pie" to a family dinner. A few months ago I brought key lime, and people didn't think it was "traditional" enough. What gives? I mean, seriously?

Exhaust

I am debating putting in a new exhaust into my car. I picked up a moderate 50$ exhaust from a local garage. They said they were giving me a decent deal on it. I'm hoping that this new exhaust will give me a lot more power and speed. If it doesnt, what can I try to make my car faster?

Dear Spacefem, There is an odd purple lump growing on the bottom of my foot. I don't know what it could be! It itches like crazy and I cant walk on it, cause if I put all of my weight on it, I pass out for hours at a time. Could this be bad? Should I see a doctor?

I have to do an egg drop for school using only rubber bands, straws, two 20oz soda bottles, two empty toilet paper rolls, glue, masking tape, twist ties, copy paper, and a manilla folder. We aren't allowed to use parachutes, it's only allowed to be 40cm x 40cm x 40cm, and it can't weigh more than 100 g (without the egg). My knowledge base on physics is very limited and I've been looking up websites on egg drops but none of them are very helpful. Any suggestions?
