HAIR DYE MISHAP

okay so I was so excited to dye my hair deep purple with special effects. it's gotten amazing reviews everywhere i go and my sister tried it and it turned out beautifully.
but for some reason, mine not only turned my hair purple, but my entire bathroom and my whole body!! I don't know what happened! I followed the directions; cleaned my hair, let it dry, then I added the hair dye to my hair, and it was super messy. so glad i had gloves. i let it sit in my hair for about 30-45 minutes. then I washed it out in the shower and I noticed right away something was wrong when I opened my eyes and saw that my hands were purple! I closed my eyes and washed as much as I could, used shampoo, wiped down with some dove soap, then got out a...

how to make any outfit look emo?

So I'm a 12 year old female. I've gotten the emo hair cut (after fighting and FIGHTING the lady, like bitch your job is to cut my hair the way i tell you to! Now i see why other emos & scenes do it themselves lol). And I can tighten all my jeans, and add those belts from Hot Topic, and i have converse, I found some jewelry that seemed emo to me, and i can always paint my nails black. The only problem is i can't fit into Hot Topic (and probably won't until I'm 14, also I'd probably need to babysit to afford that place so 14 would be good anyways, lol), or any "emo" type stores in my area. And I can't go to concerts and buy a t-shirt there considering my family isn't doing so well financially (don't ask how i got the fucking pho...

Do cartilage piercings hurt?

Questions in the title! I recently had my second lobe piercings and want to get my cartilage pierced because I think it looks pretty but not too tacky.
I know people say it depends on your pain threshold-but could someone walk me through what it was like please? Particularly keen to hear from people who've had it done themselves. Do I get it done at Claire's with a gun? Surely if it was that bad for you they wouldn't offer it in the first place? Thanks! (I'm in the UK so Walmart does't exist or anything!)

Protective hair styles

I have natural hair (around 4a) abd I play field hockey goalie. There's a lot of sweat in field hockey and I don't want to have to redo my hair after every practice (which is EVERYDAY). I thought about crochet braids but not the curly kind and I also thought about senagalese twist but I don't know if it will hold and not get all frizzy and stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Where I live Hot Topic and maybe forever 21, and Urban outfitters (although it's more hipster in my opinion) are the best options that I know of, other than thrift shop stuff. I was wondering if there id any way i can find out what scene/emo stores are in my area, I live in New York but i don't want to give too much information out?

Hair for sports

I'm field hockey goalie and I have to wear a hot sweaty helmet. But I want to look cute for the first day of school. I have natural hair and it will frizz up from the sweat if I straighten it. I thought about getting crochet braids and then just ponytail it while I play but it would get really stinky. My mom suggested micro braids but last year I got those and I looked horrible. Do you have any suggestions for me and what I can do with my hair?

I have used a color stick on my hair to cover gray for years, It is made by Roux, now when I go to color my hair the hair I have used the color stick won't take the color very well, it washes out in a few days. what do I do?

Copyrighted shirts

I made two shirts today, one with Steven Universe, and the other with the septic eye and tiny box Tim. Is it ok to wear these in public? The Steven Universe one has there logo and the main characters. The other one has a name on the bottom and a copyright sign. I included there name and the copyright sign with the shirt I made. These shirts are only for me, and I am not selling any of them. If there only for me can I wear them in public without getting in trouble? Thanks! :)

How to look pretty

Lately, I've looked at other girls and realized I'm not as pretty as they are. I have thick frizzy long hair, it's kinda a dirty blonde, pale skin, and my face seems plain. My dad doesn't let me wear makeup (even though I'm almost 17) so I look ridiculously awful. Can anyone give me any fashion tips on how to look pretty naturally for my face and hair please? And please don't say Im beautiful just the way I am, because I want to change my look more than anything. And any tips for hair straightening? My mom won't let me use a relaxer, and it takes forever to straighten my hair, and I can't ever seem to do it right. I also have to do it myself because my mom claims going to the hair stylist is "a waist of money"

I am really into online auctions. I work two jobs so I don't have a lot of free time & it gives me something to do. Probably not the best idea but I rarely win anything anyways because I am really cheap. I know of ebay but I am wondering if there are any other good reputable sites out there?

Hello I'm McKenzie and in the 5th Grade. I usually wear comfy clothes, laid back, ect. Which I don't mind wearing. Despite me having a ton of good dressy clothes. But every once in a while I want to look good and I guess care a little more. I'm a tomboy but I don't think it hurts too dress ok every once and a while. But the problem is if you wear comfy clothes at my school your expected to always wear them. If you wear dress clothes you are expected and so on.
And if not your mocked. I don't mind but I usually just wear my regular clothes because I get tired of hearing people say " What are you wearing "!?? .
Then laughing. Even if it was from W-Mart to Prada

Hello, I'm wondering whether or not to dye my hair blond, I'm 16, I've got (dark-)brown hair, and I've never dyed my hair before!
