Protective hair styles

Question Posted Monday August 17 2015, 12:36 pm

I have natural hair (around 4a) abd I play field hockey goalie. There's a lot of sweat in field hockey and I don't want to have to redo my hair after every practice (which is EVERYDAY). I thought about crochet braids but not the curly kind and I also thought about senagalese twist but I don't know if it will hold and not get all frizzy and stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I suggest:
1. Tight ballerina bun.
2. French braid.
3. Twist ponytail. (Which is where you part all your hair in half, and twist both sides separately into a ponytail)
4. Dutch braid.
Or 5. Tight cheerleader ponytail.
There are tons of others! you should check out Abby Smith's hairstyle tutorials on YouTube. She even has work out hair style ideas!
Hope this helps~
