How can I improve my mind and my mental abilities?

The TV and an easy life filled with too much wine, women and food have turned me into a zombie. How can I turn things around? I appear to be addicted to wine, women and food so not sure how to give those up to pursue other pleasures like reading or research etc.

Plane Tickets

I bought a plane ticket a month ago and just realized that they never charged my credit card...
So when I go to the airport in three days will my ticket be valid?
I have the receipt they sent me with the amount they were supposed to charge.
And if it's not valid will they realize it was their fault and still let me fly?
At the moment I don't have enough money for the ticket though I did when I "bought" it.

First off, I'd like to say that I know nobody here is a doctor. I'm not looking for a diagnosis, I'm just looking for opinions, maybe somebody here has experienced this.
Also, do not just tell me to see a doctor, that's too pricey for me at the moment without medical insurance.
This may be long because of backstory I feel like I should add but may not be needed.
Alright so, last week I was convinced I got external hemorrhoids. I had pain when I pooped, some blood, and a decent sized bump on my anus after straining during a large poop that was in no way coming out naturally.
Now the thing is, I've always had large poops and slight constipation growing up. There has always been pain because of these...

I have relatively few possesions; but relative to whom? The Nazi's where responsible to less deaths than the Russians during world war II does that make the Nazi's okay? I don't think so. I may be able to pack everything I own into a small car but really for me that is way too much stuff. I suppose it's not the stuff that bothers me it's the percieved "need". I can't bring myself to throw away things like my certificates of achievement (certificates from college stating I completed some course or another). What do they matter? They won't keep me warm at night, they wont feed me, I can't use them to defend my life from the savages of the world. Do I really need to feed myself? What is the point of protecting myself? How can I find ...

How can I increase my mental abilities?

I feel like i'm in a prison made of my own limited abilities. I have difficulty remembering anything. I'm a very poor speller and my grammar is shockingly bad. I have extreme difficulty remembering basic mathamatical principals. I am truely inept at everything I do. There are so many things out there to learn and to do. I have recently started to study at a local college but found they had nothing to teach me. The only course that I felt had any merit is their math program which I'm currently enrolled in. The more I am exposed to people the more I realise how far behind I really am. Are there any modes of study that wil increase my memory? What about my spatial reasoning? My ability to work things out in a logical way?

Activate and then de-activate Netflix on Xbox 360?

So I have Netflix. My mother pays for it. I'm gonna stay at my friends house this weekend and she doesn't have Netflix so I thought, "Hey let's activate her Xbox 360 on my account so we can watch it"
I currently use my Netflix on my Wii and my mom uses hers on the ps3 in her house so we have 4 spots left to use. I'm just wondering, how will I be able to remove the Netflix before I leave?
I know my mother wouldn't let my friend just keep it on her xbox for free so I won't be adding it if it's not removable. So if it is, how will I be able to do that?
I'm assuming my friend won't know how since she's never had Netflix before.

If I was a hermit living on some isolated island somewhere and I didn't have any tools at all; how would I remove my facial hair? Is it possible to fashion tools from rocks? Would they be clean enough? Is there another way to remove unwanted hair?

I want to learn all about plants that grow in my local area whith the eventual goal of living 100% from food I collect or hunt myself.
I have a few books and have a few printouts from the internet. Do you think that information is enough to indentify plants that are safe to eat?

Business or No?

I'm going to be creating a website soon where I'm selling a product.
Something similar to birchbox.com, but more personalized and more than make-up.
Would this be a business? Would I have to do taxes or any other special businessy things?
I wouldn't be charging taxes, just a flat rate.
Is it illegal to buy products from companies to send them off to someone else? It's not like I'd be reselling specific products...
It would be like shopping for a gift for someone... except they would be strangers and I'd be doing it over and over again.

I can't read while other people in the house have the TV on. They seem to be able to do it just fine. It's really driving me crazy. Any advice on how I can learn to read while others are watching TV? I don't want to go into another room or turn the TV off. I want to learn how to read while other things are happening around me. I think that would be an almost invaluble tool these days.

Re-selling tickets online

When you are re-selling tickets and checking laws to see if it is legal to resell them for more than face value in a certain state... do those laws still apply through online sites such as Stub-hub?
Like if I'm in Michigan and buy tickets for a concert in California and can no longer go... do California ticket reselling laws apply to me in Michigan?

Say you bought them for $100, would it be illegal to sell them for $250 if the concert is sold out and they're in high demand?

Cleaning night guard

I have been wearing a night guard (custom made from the dentist) for some time now, and use Efferdent to clean it every night. It's gotten stained now, so a light brownish tint, rather than clear. What can I use to safely remove the stain?

Kindle losing charge

This is something I've noticed happen a handful of times.
My kindle will lose charge when I'm not using it.
I'll use the most recent example:
I turned on my kindle last night after about a month or two of not using it. I'm the only one who uses it, nobody touched it from the area on my nightstand where it was buried under random things. I only live with my dad and he barely even knows what a kindle is (I'm trying to stress the fact that nobody else had touched it since I last used it) I knew for a fact that it was about at half charge the last time I had used it. When I turned it on it had a (!) over the charge icon, meaning it was nearly dead.
I actually was expecting it to be like this from past...

My sister is having a baby shower and instead of a card we're supposed to bring our favorite children's book with an inscription (to the baby I'm assuming, right?)
Anyway, I need ideas. I'm not asking at all for someone to type out an inscription for me. Just simple, vague ideas on what I could write. Things that I could stem ideas off of and make them my own.
I'm not somebody that can pop out some profound, creative, and meaningful message even if it's just a few sentences.
