Looking to go into nursing

I'm starting college and this is what they offer under Nursing:

RN to BSC Nursing
~Associate Degree~
General Nursing
Environment Health
~Certificates~
Practical Nursing
Midwifery
Pre-Nursing
I have no idea what they are except that Pre-Nursing is like an introduction and I have to start with that. Can anyone help me?

So im a junior in hs. 16/f and I Have no idea what i wanna do when i grow up. I don't know what I want to major in in college that I'll enjoy, actually get a job in and make a decent amount of money. Ive had ideas over the years..mostly just between two jobs. A psychologist and a writer. But of course those are the most difficult jobs to get real money in or to even get a job in at all and being a psychologist is stressful and overbearing and writing is hard and trying to write stories 24/7 is extremely difficult for me. Also i dont want my writing to be about the money. So yeah I Have no idea whatsoever. I always hoped that things will work out and ill stumble on the right path..and writing is something ive always wanted to persue. Its a p...

Okay so I started waiting tables about a year ago. At first, I loved it. Not only was I making crazy amounts of money, but I actually enjoyed my job. Now it seems as if I'm burnt out on it. I hate waking up each day to go to work and I can't even enjoy my days off because I know I'll have to go back soon. I've tried taking vacations, but that just makes me hate it even more. I feel stuck because I HAVE to make that kind of money in order to afford rent and other bills. I'm still in school so I'm not really qualified for jobs that make above minimum wage. As far as I can see, serving is as good as it gets for me. But I'm miserable. It's not that I'm lazy.. I just hate doing the same thing a hundred times a day. And I'm ev...

Career help: I feel like my life is so small and meaningless?

I'm in a dilemma now. I'm now in college and don't know what I want to be. I choose two majors based on subjects I like. And I don't want to spend the rest of my life doing either of them.
The thing is- I feel like life has no meaning anymore. We're all slaves of society. We're like puppets. We all do the same thing: go to school, get an education, get a job, make money, get married, have kids and die. You only get vacation once a year and you wake up every day and go through the same routine. I don't want to live my life in such a way.
I'm not saying I want to live my life like the Kardashians. I want to do something that makes a difference and I really don't care about money. I just feel like my existence is ...

Looking for a weekend job

I'm a 14 year old female and I've been looking for a weekend job but I'm struggling to find one.
My question is, what kind of things would you recommend I look at? I know that not many places can hire 14 year olds so if you could think of some suggestions of places or jobs I could look at, I would be so grateful.
I've looked at hair/beauty salons and catteries/kennels..but like i said, I'm not really sure what other jobs to look at.

can i get into pharmacy school?

So ive been a good student for all my life pretty much with the exceptions of a few Cs, but last yr i effed up and got a lot of cs and a D. Im gonna be a junior next year and i was wondering, if i work really hard the next few years could i get into pharmacy school? I havent been in any extracurricular activities cause for one i have anxiety about that and two, i didnt have a ride..but maybe i could start doing things or because a pharmatech or something when i turn 18 but do you think this is possible for me? And what do i have to expect I'm pharmacy school? What should i start studying? Any school councellors, pharmacists or students or anyone who knows anything about this please help me! Thank you!!

got a class b misdemeanor and defaulted student loans w/ no payments

i have been trying to find a job since i was 20.. tried fast food, tried mom and pop shops, tried local ads, cant go back to school til i pay off my student loans. credit score is around 200 and im only 25. i applied to food stamps in 2011 and got turned down. i applied for unemployment they said there was no problem for me to find a job. im really considering going bankrupt. unlless i can find some kind of job. can u help?

Assisted living ("granny nanny") qualifications?

I'm trying to research what it takes to become a granny nanny, or basically a personal assistant for the elderly. One who helps the elderly with activities of daily living, such as walking, bathing, dressing, cooking, housework, etc. Not a nurse assistant, mind you. I have an extreme phobia of blood, and would not be able to handle the medical things. I do not have a problem at all with vomit, bowel movements, etc, oddly enough. Everything but blood is fine. I'm a very caring person, and I get along excellently with older people. I get compliments all the time on how I naturally get along with older people (kids on the other hand are a totally different story). Asking boss about pay

I am having an issue with pay at my current job. I'm out of college and wanted to go into a field more relevant to my skills, so I left my first job and started a new one a few months ago. I was hired as an intern and after a week my boss told me he wanted to bring me on full. Unfortunately a client backed out from the company and my boss told me he could no longer pay full, but could keep me on as an intern. I was kind of stuck and took it, but he promised that he would bring me on full as soon as the company got a new client.
Let me make it clear that I am very aware that business is business, that nothing should be taken as truth until a contract is signed, that words are words and nothing more.

Overseas Work Placement-safest country?

So I want to do some extra journalism work experience abroad. I have found this reliable website and gotten a brochure.
The only journalism placements are:
India, Ghana and Mexico
Which in your opinion is the 'best' country to go to. For an 18 year old who looks more like 16?

Summer job in the US

Hi, so I went in for an interview a couple of weeks ago for Walgreens and he gave me the drug test sheet to take and I had to wait for the drug test to come back. The interview went well. After they received the results, he then called me to let me know that there isn't enough budgetting for me to start working yet since the people who were suppose to leave haven't left yet. He said hI got the job and he would call me back when there was available hours and it's been a whole week since he called. I was beginning to worry that I really didn't get the job...so I called him and I found out that he will be getting transferred to another Walgreens. I came into Walgreens to take my assessment test on Saturday and the hiring manager that was there told me to give him a call back on Wednesday around the same time I came in. Today I called into Walgreens and asked the speak to him but he wasn't in yet so the lady who was given the phone who was a store manager took my name and phone number down and she asked what I was calling for and I didn't understand her question, so I said I don't know Quincy told me to give him a call after I took the assessment test, and she asked me again what I was calling for...so I said the same ting, and she caught an attitude with me and she said that Quincy isn't here right now, I'm the store manager!
