I'm a 15 year old girl. I'm responsible and respectful. I don't drink, smoke, have sex, do drugs, or anything of the sort. I haven't had a boyfriend in almost 4 years and have no interest in having one, I get exceptional grades, and I'm extremely focused on my schoolwork and acting career. The problem is with my father. This past winter, I met a guy in my drama class. I'm a freshman and he's a senior, I'm white and he's black. We have no interest in a relationship, but we are very good friends. I have alot of guy friends, and this was no different. I'm friends with this guy because I can relate to him. We both struggle with depression, have a love of acting, and we just get along great. visiting friends

When I go back home on weekends, my parents get really upset when I want to take off in the evening and see my friends. They complain that they never get to see me and all this, and don't understand why I even want to keep in touch with my old friends anyway, it's nuts. So I'm thinking about going and staying with friends in their town and just not telling my parents that I'm there. I know if they find out they'd be really upset, but they guilt me if I don't spend every second with them when I'm in town. Is it wrong to lie to my parents about visiting my hometown, or a necessary evil to see my friends?

yes i read what you wrote but wont my recods be looked into and stuff i like in the scranton pa stake and i no we have only one stake president in about a 200 mile radius so even if i went to try to join up again they would not let me unless i went and met with my bishop and the stake president and all the stuff and im sure they would not take me back at present as i said i am living with a man that i am not married to and that is against their ruling but i think i am being judged unfairly in a way

hi can any1 give me some advice, my son is 10 and has no contact with his dad due to my desision as i was scared of what my parents would think of him so i didnt tell them who the father was. 10 years on i cant help wondering what would have happened if he knew he was a father, i pict ure my son and him getting along great watching footie and other sports, then again he might not even want to know his son, what do you suggest

my sister keeps on asking me if she wants her hair to b dyed a diff. color...her hair is brown with blonde streaks(but she put them in there a few months ago)and she is wondering if she should re-highlight it or dye it a darker color for sumthin new

I need help. I am going through a lot at this time of my age. My parents are at the edge of getting divorced, school is getting very difficult and the problem is my whole entire family is counting on me( i am have a extremely very big family).. I have my whole life planed out such as my carreers and the steps i will be taking. so much is going through my mind and i really need some to trust and talk to not only for a day. Any suggestions.
P.S. i have even bigger problems than this and i am only 13.

I have been adopted twice. I know my original birth name and would like a copy of the original birth certificate. The Texas office of Vital Statistics says they will not let me have it even though they know it exist. Does anybody know how I can get a copy of it legally, without having to change my name back to it?

Dad Unemployed

My dad recently quit his job. He didn't like the managment or something. It's been like 7 months or so and I'm worried that he won't be able to find one and we will run out of money soon. I'm also worried because my dad doesn't do anything all day while im at school. I used to come home everyday and find him sitting there wastching the TV. Thankfully he's starting to get out more and do things. Is there any way I can help him find the job he is looking for?

Out of Control Sister

I have an.. well interesting sister. She is 4 years older than I am and I am nearly 18. My sister and I both live at home still. My sister acts as if her life is the most important life on the face of the earth, and she treats everyone around her like a lesser being. Sometimes I just want to physically hurt her because words just never get through to her, that is, if you can words out at all. She never lets people speak, especially when she is angry. She blames her problems on everyone else in my family, especially my mother and I'm starting to believe my sister is really breaking my moms heart to pieces. have question.
Is it wrong to expect a B-day party?

My dad threatens to ground me for EVERYTHING these days..... Getting a C, buying a thong, eating 'lots' of junk food, buying food for myself, yelling at him, sleeping in too late, waking up too early.. You name it, my dad threatens to ground me for it! I just got off-grounded for getting a C- in English & buying a bag of candy for a "party" that me & my friends had at lunch last friday. I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!! What am I supposed to do??

Hey, i'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I'm an 18 year old female, and for 18 of those years, me and my mum were really close - like best friends. But since around the time of my eighteenth birthday, she's been like a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I wont bore you with the details of our arguments, but one day she'll be screaming in my face, and the next she'll be suffocating me and being all lovey dovey with me. I'm thinking that because i'm 18 now she's struggling to find a balance between letting me have my independence and still acting like we're family.

fighting cousins

my son and his cousin are both 3 and all his cousin ever does is bite and scram his face, he looks like hes been attacked by a cat! as soon as the old wounds are healed new ones appear, its really annoying me now, ive tried to separate them but its hard as his mother works full time and i look after him, ive now told my son to hit back as hes a very big boy for his age and mayby he wouldnt do it if he hurts him back, what do you suggest
