is there neway to make my lowered chevy s-10 any safer to drive in the snow cuz my mom said that i am not gona b allowed to drive in the snow cuz it isn't safe but i really don't wanna ride the big ole cheese wagon lol. I heard you can put like sand bags in the back to give it more weight does that work. thanks for any help

rear lamp unit fault sierra sapphire 1600

proplem with rear lamp unit on a sierra sapphire 1600 j reg. righ indicator working erratically flashing on and off. after removing cover i noticed plastic melted on connection. concerned car catching fire.

I doubt anyone will know the answer to this but here it goes... I was working on a car for my friend. Its a cabiretta (OLD CAR) and i had to replace the starter, the battery, steering column, and the rimes, wheels, and tires. We turned on the car and it was working earlier after i completed it BUT now when we try to start it the car will not turn over. I know that the starter is good because its brand new, and so is the battery.. IT was working about 15 minutes ago.. NOW it doesnt turn over.. who knows the problem

Installing car radio?

My cd-player was stolen out of my car last week and I am too cheap to buy a new one. I still have the original factory radio that came with my car but I am unsure of how to install it. I feel I may be missing some wiring. It is a 94' Ford Taurus. Can anyone help me out, or know of a web site that show me what to do?

I tried to start my car today and it wouldn't start. I tried jumping it and it still won't turn over. Do you guys have any idea what it might be?

Hey. Just like 2 minutes ago when I went to view my column the format looked a little different. For style I have Plain Wide Boxes chosen, but now the left hand side panel on my column is like skinnier and the question and anser part is wider..I don't really like it..I just wanted to know if anyone elses did this. does anyone know how much it would be to paint a 1995 Chevy S-10 LS. It is blue now but i want 2 paint it pink and sparkles. I was just wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost and the best place to go? like the cheapest? Thanks alot!

car magnets

I got one of those magnets that you stick to your car, you know, instead of a bumper sticker or whatever. Anyway, it rained and I noticed that the rainwater under the magnet doesn't dry out. Is my paint going to get screwed up in the spot where that magnet is?

What's that noise?

I just had my muffler replaced, but now occasionaly when I accelerate or am inbetween gears I hear a noise like there is a friction of some sort or that something is catching (sorry not too descriptive, I know).
I am planing on asking my mechanic, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? And is it worth worrying about?

i have a lowered s-10 truck and i was wondering if goin over sped bumps and hole and stuff will it tear up the bottom or do something else 2 the bottom and is there nething else i should that could posable do 2 my truck thanks alot

Ok. I have a '94 Jeep Cherokee which I love. I hate putting gas in it, but I am a "stuff" person. I like to carry stuff. The damn thing cost me half a down payment this week in brakes and a new air compressorfor the air conditioner.
Which I would not have replaces if the bearing wouldn't have taken out the belt that runs my whole car.
Incidentially, the amount I paid was probably half of the value of the car. It has new front brakes, tires that are only a year old, and a '98 engine that was installed last year. Do I keep patching it together and wait until it really pisses me off enough to scrap it or do I pray like heck I can get $2000 out of it?

I bought this car in february, and besides getting a new battery, it was a great deal for $2000. But I drove about four hours away a few weekends ago, most of it highway going 70 or more. On the way back it started to make a really bad beeping... screeching grinding sound.
After driving the car for these last weeks, I can explain it better: When I start the car up and go, it will be fine for about 10 minutes. Then it will start to make a sort of beeping sound, that seems to be coming from something grinding and screeching against a pipe of some sort when it goes around (like the thing hooking the two front tires together are hitting something as it goes around it's rotation, only in one spot).

Sorry guys.. I wasnt sure what to put it under.. But... Thursday i go for my road test.. and I'm extremely nervous.... and I know when the day comes I'm going to like freak out.. and I have a feeling i'm going to do bad... I drive really good. But when I'm with people I dont know I tend to make stupid little mistakes... What can I do to keep myself calm while i'm taking my road test...
