Boring BFF

Ok, I don't wanna sound brutal or anything, but my BFF (let's call her Emma) is so freakin' boring. I'm getting into going to parties, dances, and other fun stuff. Emma is the total opposite. She'll sit at home, watching TV, or sitting on her computer for 5 hours. I really feel like she's holding me back. What should I do?

I want to make my best friend a care package to cheer her up because that's just the sort of thing we do for each other. I guess I should put candy in it and maybe some fun little toys but I want unique little fun things, not stupid redundant little things that aren't really that fun. Anything you can think of that's surprisingly entertaining yet fits in a lunch bag?

i had a friend a long time ago. i last heard from him about six or seven years ago. he was living in japan. his name was Masaki Bando and is probably around 12 or 13 years old. how do i find him if he may be all the way across the world??? i miss him like crazy and i really want to send him an email or something. please help me find him!

just before christmas i had a fight with two of my at the time best friends my mum was there and everything one of my friends called my6 month pregnant mum a f*****n fat mole and i whent off my head at her like any daughter would about 3 days after that we came back from our x-mas holidays to find a notice in our letter box asking either me or my mum to ring the police station. the next day my mum rang the police and a cop came to talk to us the bitches had put out a report on me saying that i said i was going to kill them and i was going to stab them which i DID NOT say the cops let it be and said that she is just trying to get attention. now they have gone around telling other people that my mum said she was going to stab them, but she to...

I've had this best friend for about 11 years now.. but I'm so sick of her. She's always lying to me, deceiving me, hurting me, so much stuff that I'm so pissed off. I talk to her about it all the time but she just comes up with more excuses, then expects me to forgive her. She's pretty much friends with all my friends, and you could even say she's "stolen" some from me and now they're better friends with her then me, so I can't hang out with them anymore. What should I do?

i don't meant to insult those who are at a young age and say they have found love, but i realize that you have not felt true love until you meet the one meant for you. when my friend speaks of how much he is "in love", it just kinda pains me because he has no idea. i don't want to force him to believe he is only feeling a premature feeling of love and not the real thing... but i also won't be able to stand him getting hurt. what should i do to soothe my concience without telling him all of my opinions and putting out friendship at risk?

I have a friend who is a really good friend of mine and she has boyfriends like all the time but she is not a slut or a hoe.These guys ask her to do all these things withher like touch her and everything and she is afraid to say no cuz it would ruin there relationship so she does them with him I just dont want her to get hurt what am i to do!!!!! Once upon a time... I thought I had a really great friend. She and I really spent lots of time together after we graduated from university, we majored in the same programs. One night we went together to a bar, not to pick up guys but just to have a girls night out. During our girls night out she left me at the bar to dance with a guy she met (yes so much for girls night out). Ok well i used to be the girl who wrote the best peoms ever.Then bout a year ago my other friend started writeing her peotry and totally just critisizing mine and then my other friend started writing it oo and then my friend said whoa is she tryin to take m y place and then said well i took urs i mean my poetry is better well she didnt say that but implied it ever since then i have felt so empty b-cz peotry is the only thing i had why is she doing this what can i do to help and y do i feel like this?

i've been friends with this boy for a couple of years, just friends, but now, after spending most of the summer and after school with him i now have a crush... he has a split personality... one minute, he's the nicest, funniest, all around good person you'd ever meet, but sometimes he hangs around druggies... this scares me...

i've been best friends with my friend since kindergarden, in first grade she moved away, but we've still been best friends since. she has two other close friends who go to my school and i can tell they're a little jealous of us being best friends. Lately my best friend (let's call her Ella) has been hanging out with her other friend (let's call her Tina) because they're in the same hebrew school. now she always talks about tina! a couple of times i've given Ella one of those best friend necklaces, but she nver wore it, recently Tina gave her a best friend necklace and she wears it all the time, though Tina never wears hers. Tina also talks about Ella behind her back, which i've never done (except now). I don't want my best friend to be hurt...

there's this guy (yeah, yeah, i know it's not original, but it makes sense this way!) i've liked nearly all this year, and i think he likes me. he's showing all the signs (e.g. choosing seats near me, watching me, then turning away when i see him, etc.) but i'm not sure. see, i nearly always sit near my friend, and i'm sometimes not sure if it's me he wants to be near or watch, etc., or her.i know the obvious solution would be to not sit near my friend, and see what he does, but i don't want to. i really believe in that saying about not choosing guys over your friends, and i don't want to just ditc her. (btw, she doesn't know that i like this guy. we're not close enough for that, but we've been frinds for seven years or something. she's not...

Is it just me or are some women/girls SO FUCKIN STUPID? I don't know one single girl who doesn't talk about her own friends behind their back, and the number of girls i know who obsess over makeup is astoundingly large(i'm 13). I'm a girl, most of my friends are girls, but I'm finding that guys are a little bit easier to get along with. Yeah, they're idiots, but they get over arguments easier and don't make a big deal over fights and stuff. And sometimes you need a goofball to make you laugh. I consider my self a feminist, and am trying to ween my friends off of makeup and back-stabbing(it's working :)). So: Do women change as they get older? Get less insane? At all?
