red eye (sorry if it's gross)

Hey, this morning I woke up and my eye was crusty. And then I looked in the mirror and it was all red. it still is. My mom said it might be "Pink Eye" but my eye doesn't itch, and it's not really goopy. Does anyone have any ideas on what this is?? I rate all 5's.

metal allergy

okay i dont know if this goes under illnesses, but i couldnt find anything else.. Alright I have a metal allergy, and so I'm allergic to the metal in my belts and I get like a rash, but I can't not wear belts b/c i have to keep my pants up, lol (i'm in between sizes, so the 7's are too tight and the 9's are too big) and I don't know is there anything I could use so my belts like, wouldn't touch my skin or something.. and don't say just stop wearing them, cause I'm trying but theres still that rash.. :-/ ty if you can help me

Anorexia?

I think I'm anorexic. But I might not be because everyone says that the first quality of an anorexic is denial. I don't know. My friends say that I am, because I don't eat much for lunch and most of the time don't eat lunch at all. I never considered myself underweight, but I guess I would be in like, the 10th percentile. What do you guys think?

Dear Advicenators,
One and a half years ago my brother *Henry* was diagnosed with hemophilia, which means that his blood does not clot normally. If he gets a cut, it's really hard to stop the bleeding. If he loses too much blood, he could die if the blood is not replenished.
Henry and I always liked to spend time together (he's two years older than me). We'd ride bikes to the park and shoot basketball hoops. He couldn't be too active, but he was my best friend and I felt safe around him.
Anyway, he lost a lot of blood one day, and was taken to the doctor for another blood injection. The horrible part was, that the person who had donated that blood was carrying the AIDS virus. The doctor proclaimed that H...

Polycistic Ovaries

I have recently been told i have Polycistic ovaries, I went to the GP after the scan I had to see if there was any treatment, He told me that there was nothing that the NHS will do unless i'm trying for children.
Over the last year my weight has gained, I've got horrible spots and excessive hair on my body, i told the Doctor this and he refused me anything to help me. Going private is not an option, I'm currently a student and money is a luxury/
I'm nearly 20 years old, I'm in a relationship and my boyfriend is very supportive, however i'd love children in the future, is it really true i'm not entitled to any help? (I live in England)

today i woke up with a sore throat, runny nose, watery eyes, and just A BADDDD COLD! its the begining of winter break and im tryin soo hard to get better by atleast monday....is there anything i can do/take to get better? im taking halls cough drops and dimetap so far....is there anything better?

14/female Okay well this is going to be long, so I'm just going to warn you ahead of time, but please help. Well, a friend of mines mother has tumors in her head. Well about a month ago they were removed and there was this tube thing that the doctors put in her. Well less than a week ago the tumors came back and she had to go to the hospital for surgeory. I was pretty close w/ my friends mom and it's hard for me and one of my other friends to deal with it, and so were thinking about how our friend who's going through it is feeling. Well the girl who's mother is in the hostpital (Brittany) is being checked for tumors, and we just found out that she has one and will be getting her head shaved. Support for a teen with Fibromyalgia!!

hey, i am a 16 year old female and im really upset and i dont know where else to go. my mother has Fibromyalgia and borderline Lopus. ok thas not the thing tho. she has always told me that children coudlnt get it and that it wasnt something that she could pass onto me. ive been really sick over the last 2 years and they havent been able to figure out what with. i have been to it seems every dr. possible. well then today i went to a rheumatologist and he told me that i need to go see a specialist who specializes in Fibromyalgia cause he thinks that i have it or that i could have lopus. Over Weight

I'm 6'11" 430lbs Male. I need a plan for weight loss, and i need to lose it soon. My doctor has suggested surgery, and i do not want to go there until i absoulty have to. It is literally killing me. Please give me some low cost solutions on losing weight. Thanks.

i think i might have breast cancer. there is a lump in my breast and i don't know how to tell my parents or my boyfriend. i dont want to go to the doctor until i am for sure that i might have it. I don't know what to do! please help me!!!

i didnt no which one i shud put this under illness or relationships/school well anyways.... my friend rachel has 9 bros and sis's and her mom just found out that she had cancer! rachel is the oldest and is only 12! if i try to talk to her about it she just acts like she doesnt care that much and shes telling everyone! if it is possible i want to get her on extreme makeover home edition bc her family deserves it! and if her mother dies then there will b a widow father who has to raise 9 children on his own.

my best friends sister just got diagnosed w/ cancer! my closest cuzin just died last year of cancer. i always talked to her about my cuzin and now i totttally regret it cuz i really dont want her sister to die!! her sis is 18 and she soooo nice. the bad thing is that my best freind and i are 13 and its that time when ur family treats u like ur garbage. and her sister is teh only one who was nice to her and always there for her. thats y i feel sooo bad. and ive been comforting her but evrytime i do i hafta stop cuz i get teary eyed cuz i think of my cuzin. and then she gets teary eyed and i just dk wut im supposed to do.

Ok i have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My oldest sisteris married and has a daughter who is 2 and her husband has a daughter from a previous relationship who is 6. So im an aunt of 2 and my 2nd oldest sister found out that she was pregnant with her fiance of 6 years. im 14 years old. my sister is almost 5 months pregnant halfway through but she went for an ultrasound one day. she noticed that the baby really didn't move that much so she let the doctors know. her baby was tested positve for spinalbifida which could possibly make the baby never walk. Then she started freakin out and she blamed it on genetics because our cousin has it. so she went to a specialist to find out if the baby had the disease or not.
