After taking two negative urine tests to test for pregnancy and a blood test, which came back with an HCG level of 2 mLu/mL, indicating that I am not actually pregnant I have rule out the possibility. I took these examinations about five or six weeks (we had sex around November 4th to 6th, and I had this blood test done on December 21st) from the last time that I had sex with my boyfriend (my only sexual partner for three years).
I was wondering if anyone has experienced these types of symptoms, and their experiences with them. I have not been to a gynecologist yet but I have an appointment scheduled for Tuesday of next week. I will bring up my HCG levels with him next time I have an appointment with him, assuming that my mom does not insist in being in the same room as me. I would rather not infuriate her with any of this.
In the past my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex, where he just pulled out. Stupidly I had looked into this method and found results indicating that for adults in a monogamous relationship, with no risk for STD, that it can be almost as effective against preventing unwanted pregnancy as using condoms. Not only that, but I also think that my boyfriend knows enough about when he's going to cum. I failed to think about the fact that my boyfriend masturbates a few times a day, when I am not around to have sex with, meaning that there is probably sperm present in his precum.
My boyfriend who had seven or eight sexual partners from 17 to 21, has already been tested for STDs, and he felt comfortable with his slim chances of an STD since I only had two sexual partners before him and neither one of them had had sex with a lot of people. I also mainly used condoms with them, after a pregnancy scare with my first partner after I first started having sex at age 19. Now we realize this wasn't smart and we plan on using birth control in the future.
I went to my general practitioner where the physician's assistant ran an urinalysis, in which she told me that there's no indication of blood in my urine meaning that it's not linked to kidney or bladder problems. She suggested that it may be an ovarian cyst. But she also inferred that because she doesn't work at gynecologist's office that she isn't specialized in this type of maladies. I need to have a pelvic/abdominal ultrasound.
EVERY night I experience cramping, head aches, breast soreness, breast tenderness, cramping, and nausea. I have not had a regular period since late October. Sometimes I feel fine but sooner or later I feel symptoms, almost like they're to be expected.
Have any women experienced these symptoms? Could it be a hormonal imbalance, an ovarian cyst, or something else? I'm terrified that this might make me unable to have children in the future.
