I think you should get a kitten. They're cute, playful, funny, and they can stay home by themselves for up to about five days! I have two kittens, and I love them so much! They are pretty expensive, but they can live for fifteen to twenty years, which is a lot longer than a guinea pig or snake would probably live. Plus, they're more interactive, unlike snakes and guinea pigs that have to stay in little cages. So, I think you should get a kitten, but it's really your choice. Good luck with your new pet! :)

I would defiantly say a snake because (and I know this sounds harsh but its from experience 4 times) you don't get as attached and it wont hurt you as much when it dies as you can just pick up another one although and i may a puppy would be best for your age group as you can learn about responsibility as well as having a nice surprise when you get home from school or having to comfort for..... teen purposes!

I think you'd get more out of keeping a kitten-but I would say that!
A snake just wont give you much affection. A guinea pick may do but kittens are the most affectionate.

It depends on your situation. Are you very busy? If so, a snake may be the best to have because you just have to feed it/clean its cage or whatever. However, in the long run a kitten would be better. This is because cats are independant animals and can please themselves.

I know which one I'd pick-kittens may not be the most unique/exotic but rear them right and they'll love you forever. They also live longer so if you were to get one from a rescue shelter you'll be doing a very good thing, giving them a new chance at life :) They also know when you feel a bit down and cuddle you which a snake wouldn't.

I have owned all 3, I would personally go with a kitten. However it all depends on what you feel would be a right fit for you, How much time are you willing to put into it?

Kittens need a lot of care and attention, They also require patience.

A Guinea pig is a bit more independent then a kitten but also requires attention and cleaning.

A snake is fully independent and requires cleaning but cannot be cuddled with.

I have owned 2 cats, I adopted one at 10 months and even that was hard. I had to train her not to scratch etc. But I wouldn't trade her for the world...

All depends on you

It depends how much interaction you want with the pet or how much you like being entertained by them.
A snake doesn't interact with you like a guinea pig or cat does. Guinea pigs are a fun pet. Had one that would dig its nose under my hand and bump it up if it wanted more petting. It would purr for me when content and squeal in excitement at the prospect of food arriving. And its fun to watch them waddle, like a toddler with a soggy diaper. But thats the extent of it. they are sweet tho.
Cat's are more of a challenge since they like to be independant. They won't allow you to pick them up and stroke them like a guinea pig welcomes it. They have their own personalities and if they're not in the mood, they aren't--end of story! Because they can be so finicky and assert their own mind, it makes it all the more rewarding when a cat bonds with you and wants to interact. My daughter for example owns a cat who will pat her on the nose carefully with a paw to wake her up to be fed. If you handle and play a lot with a feline from kitten-hood on, there should be better bonding than obtaining an adult cat. Just look at all the cute pics people have to share about what their cats do on FB. Then again, keep in mind, some of it is up to what the cat's personality is. Each one is unique like a human. I never noticed personality in as much detail with our guinea pigs or the dwarf bunnies we kept.
In the end, the decision is yours but this gives you more to think about to hopefully make a better decision.
