What is not true is that you can pick up an STD from a toilet seat. If you think you have an STD the best thing to do is be tested. Most STDS are quickly cured with medication. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Saturday May 25 2013, 11:37 am: In rare circumstances yes. A friend of mine got pubic lice from a public toilet seat when she was 12 or 13. There was medication involved and everything, it was really bad. It's very unlikely, though. I'm not sure why you're asking, but it's not a good excuse. What I mean is, if you actually did have sex and contract an STD, telling your parents that you got it off of a toilet seat probably isn't going to work. I'm not saying that this is your situation, but it is so rare to get an STD from a way other than having sex that people wouldn't really believe you. You see, Some people are carriers. When we are carriers of a disease our bodies become immune.
Herpes for example is an STD, Cold sores are a form of herpes. We can contract STD with something as simple as kissing. [ Xui's advice column | Ask Xui A Question ]
