iMessage question for iPad 1

Question Posted Thursday May 16 2013, 7:45 pm

iMessage question for iPad 1. When I first got my iPad I set up my iMessage with my email but I've never used it so I don't know anything about how it works.

My sister wants to be able to use my iMessage when I let her use my iPad but as her own account. I looked at the settings and there's a "Receive At" option with my email next to it. I tap that and it brings me to an option where I can add another email. Is that like adding another account? Will the two iMessage accounts be connected in anyway? Will they show up as being connected? I'd rather not have my sisters conversations filtering over into mine.

Sorry, I just don't know anything about iMessage, can someone help?
