Mosquitoes: Which months should you wear mosquito repellent?
Question Posted Wednesday May 8 2013, 5:44 am
I've been searching the internet and cannot find an article that will tell me which months you should where mosquito repellent.
I haven't been bitten by mosquitoes in a while but I woke up with two large-ish red bumps on my leg that I think are from mosquitoes.
I live in Arizona. During what months is it best to wear mosquito repellent?
Thank you.

Due to global warming etc... the wet and dry season have been changing.
As long as there is rain, or you have stagnant water around (pots, vases, puddles etc) these are breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Get rid of them and start putting on your mosquito repellant. Make sure it has DEET.
Wear long clothing (pants and sleeved tops) and keep your area well ventilated.
There are a lot of options too like the plug in with a blue replaceable mat, that is really effective if you don't want to keep on rubbing your skin with products...
