contracted STI

Question Posted Tuesday June 12 2012, 10:08 pm

I contracted an STI from a guy I met online, before engaging in sexual contact i asked him if he was clean, drug and disease free. he said yes. I also asked him if he has had sex with anyone that night already, he said no. After we had safe sex, he proceeds to tell me he engaged in sexual conduct with a man hours before meeting me that had HPV . He said he didnt think he had to warn me because I asked if he had sex with anyone, and not specify just oral. What can I do? He refused to tell me the truth about engaging in dangerous sexual activity prior to meeting me.

to sillyrob. Your right people do lie online. They also lie everywhere else. Having sex with strangers is a common thing in many young adults lives, they meet at the bar, gym, pool, etc. They also meet online. But knowingly transmitting or knowing your putting someone at high risk of infection is fucking despicable

Is there ANY kind of legal action I can do to put this man behind bars so he doesnt infect anyone else and ruin there lives.

Well, the realest answer you can get is, "Don't engage in sex with people you don't really know." I mean, this might come as a surprise, but people online lie. They'll tell you what you wanna hear cause it's easy to. Mix that in with the fact it's a guy who wants in your pants, you're asking for a disaster. Right now, all you can do is hope that the HPV doesn't do horrible things to you.

I would see a doctor and everything. I wish the best for you. But honestly, from now on, you should think before you allow a penis inside you. Life is short, and why would you allow yourself to be harmed for a quick night of pleasure?
