It would have helped more if you also specified whether you were male for female. But since you did not, I will give you information for both sexes.

For Male -
This is a problem with guys who masturbate a lot and their body becomes used to certain types of stimulation and only reacts to this type of stimulation.

The cure? Easy - quit masturbating period. It will do two things - first you will be re-training your body to react to different stimulation, and second since you won't be releasing semen from masturbation it will build up to a point where you will be begging to ejaculate once you do have sex. But the only way you are going to have success here is if you want to fix the problem - i.e. give up masturbation.
It may also be a mental problem. Sometimes stress as well as other factors may make it difficult to reach climax. For men, mental and physical must work together to reach an orgasm. I would suggest thinking about what may be bothering you and take care of it.

For Female -

If you are female, and are having difficulty in reaching climax, it could be the same as with the male one. If you masturbate too often, it does make it more difficult to reach climax during intercourse. You could stop masturbating and that would of course retrain your body for new form of stimulation. Also, on average it takes a woman 12 minutes to reach climax. If your male partner doesn't last this long, I would suggest letting him know that you would also like to get off. Foreplay is also a great way as well for a woman to reach climax during. Also, there is clitoral stimulation during intercourse. If you are uncomfortable doing it to yourself, ask your partner. This can also speed up the female climax process. Experiment with different positions, and techniques with your partner.

For both male and female -
There are other factors for the inability to reach climax, such as medications. If you have started a new medication, I would look into it, as this can also cause sex drive / climax changes.

Hope this information was of some help.
