I have a 1992 Cadillac DeVille. It keeps dying on me while I'm driving. It has also been smoking quite a bit(white smoke), and I've noticed it isn't getting very good gas mileage. Any idea what the problem may be?
bigunored1 answered Wednesday October 13 2010, 10:08 pm: You need a valve job done .your valves has oil caced up inside caseing it to smoke usualy when it hasent had an oil change regualery the oil becomes thick like molasses and it makes your lifters work overtime caseing it to smoke .if you take it to a mecanic he will tell you the same thing .its a messy job and price wise I'm not for sure but to be honest I don't think its cheap but I hope this has been some help to you [ bigunored1's advice column | Ask bigunored1 A Question ]
