i was wondering if you keep your car in good shape such as gettin regualr check ups and oil changes and gettin it fixed when it needs fixed does the mileage actually matter?

If so, then it could matter a lot. A high mileage car that's been well taken care of can be a good bargain. Its likely, if you take care of it yourself, to last a long time yet.
If you go racing around in it or attempting to do burnouts...you know show off stuff, it probably won't take it for long. If you drive like a sane person, and can get the car for a really good price,
it would be a great first car.
