Does anyone have a really good cookie recipe they've made? I know I can google it but I'd rather made something I know is good. More than one recipe is good, too.
It's for my bf, I've made him chocolate chip, cinnamon chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin in the past.

I have another recipe that starts with a while or yellow cake mix. Ingredients: I box of cake mix(18.5oz, 1 8oz pkg cream cheese, 1/4 cup margarine or butter, 1 egg, 1/4 tsp vanilla. Mix and bake @ 375 for 8 to 10 minutes. These are super easy and pretty good.
Then there's Chocolate Muddies. These are actually kind of tricky to get right.
Ingredients: 1 3oz pkg cream cheese softened, 1/4 cup margarine or butter softened, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1/8 tsp almond extract, 2 large eggs, 2/3 cup chocolate fudge ice cream topping, 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup baking cocoa, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 cup vanilla milk chip (or white chocolate), 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped.
Beat cream cheese and margaine in large bowl until fluffy. Add sugars, vanilla, almond extract, eggs and ice cream topping. Beat until fluffy.
Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Stir into wet mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients (chips).
Bake on a well oiled cookie sheet (I use shortening) and bake @ 350 for 13-15 minutes until edges are just set. Centers will still be very soft.
These are best eaten fresh, and are very hard to store as they stick together and loose the crispy edge quickly. And yes, they are extremely unhealthy but well worth it at least once. It took me a couple of times to get the cooking time right, so just keep checking them, it might only take 5 to 8 minutes in the oven, or it might take longer than 15 minutes. It also depends on how humid it out when your baking them. [ selectopaque's advice column | Ask selectopaque A Question ]

This makes a huge difference in your cookies. I have found some of the best recipes are right on the packages of the cans and morsel bags. Also, using a high quality ingredient, good chocolate brand. Brands matter a lot. Good luck, You have a lucky bf. [ Boe's advice column | Ask Boe A Question ]
