i had unprotected sex about 3 days ago. he didn't cum inside me, so i know i'm not pregnant. but could i still have gotten any stds, even though there haven't been any signs so far?
CrystalRenee06 answered Thursday August 18 2005, 3:08 pm: YES.. STD's are big these days. You should always use a condom, unless your are 100% sure that, the person that your having sex with is clean, and that they don't have any thing, and if they are also willing to take the risk of getting you pregnant. And even though he didn't cum inside of you, you can still get pregnant by pre-cum. You really should use condoms. And there is a possibilty of having STD's. As fir stds, how about a chart that will tell you everything you need to know...check it out. :)

cailoisa answered Saturday August 13 2005, 4:24 pm: You are usually only fertile a few days out of your cycle. Your most fertile days are the few in the middle of when you're not bleeding.
There only needs to be sexual contact to spread STD's. If you've only had sexual contact with each other, for certain, then you're ok. However, there are some STD's that you can get that can do their damage before you even know they are there. Gonorrhea can cause many nasty things, including infertility and death, without you ever knowing that you have it. Women often have no symptoms whatsoever. It can also be transmitted to unborn babies without knowing you have it. That's an example of just one disease that you can get.
So, unless you are absolutely certain that you have only ever been with each other, you might want to get tested just to be safe.
...As an afterthought, be sure to report people with mean answers, such as one of the answers below. You have every right to ask a question, and you shouldn't have to read through their bull to find the help you're looking for. There's a "report abuse" button to the right. Guys precum.... and when they stick it in thats how you can get the STD... But the best way to make sure you or him dont have anything is to go to the doctors and get some tests done... and for the pregnancy thing... I dont think that you can be pregnant.... But.. for now on... Use Protection! That is the safest way!!!
Supermanlover45 answered Saturday August 13 2005, 12:24 pm: Yes, it is possible to have some STD's and it's still possible to get pregnant even if he didn't cum in you. When you have sex the guy is pre cumming without even knowing because he can't even feel it(please don't ask me how I know this I just know it's possible..) I think you should get checked up anyways to make sure. I doubt you do but hey you never know. Hope I helped. Sorry if I didn't. :(
Sporkster answered Saturday August 13 2005, 11:47 am: Any time you have sex you have a chance of becoming pregnant. Any time. That's why you should NEVER have unprotected sex if you're not trying to conceive. It doesn't matter if he didn't "cum" inside of you. There is pre-ejaculate (or, "pre-cum") that does contains sperm. Always always ALWAYS use some sort of birth control/protection.
If he has been tested for STD's and was tested negative, you have nothing to worry about in that area. If he hasn't been tested, you really don't know. Have him and yourself tested for STD's so you don't have to worry about it.
Informant_Girl answered Saturday August 13 2005, 11:00 am: If you had unprotected sex, even if he did not ejalucate into you, there are certain pre-ejaculatory liquids that come out during foreplay that do contain minor amounts of sperm. There is a chance that you might get pregnant (although lower than if he had ejaculated into you directly). STDs often do not manifest themselves right away - some have a long incubation period, maybe up to months. The best way is to get tested an anonymous clinic and stop sex until the results come in. And try to avoid unprotected sex if possible or if you think it will be hard, at least get tested and go on the pill or some other sort of contraception you can take before time. kevin1986 answered Saturday August 13 2005, 10:54 am: You could be pregnant, there is a thing called "precum". All it takes is one little sperm cell. You only could've gotten an STD if he has one. Does he? [ kevin1986's advice column | Ask kevin1986 A Question ]
