LilCutePinkAngel answered Thursday August 12 2004, 3:54 pm: well ask your doctor for some painkillers or something to help. if he doesn't want to give you painkillers then go to the drugstore and get the icy/hot patch for your back. or you could try bayer back and body. Also there are exercises you can do that are suppose to help with the pain, Here is a web page you can visit that will list them for you:
MFS answered Thursday August 12 2004, 3:45 pm: I am surprised they haven't tried putting you on something like Vioxx. You need a prescription for it, though. If Ibuprofen isn't cutting it for you, then likely nothing over the counter will (maybe naproxen if you haven't used it much, but I'm personally not a big fan of naproxen). Either way, this is something you really should consult your doctor for... make sure you tell him that ibuprofen just doesn't seem to work - ibuprofen can also cause stomach lining damage over time if you take too much of it - thus things like Vioxx were developed.
