But it's not hard to at least do a breast exam at least once am month so you know if you need to get checked out. You can ask your Doctor to show you how to do a breast exam in person, but the basic jist of it is pretty easy. Here's how my doctor described it:
Lie down on your bed, a couch, or the floor.
Put your left arm behind your head, and with your right hand, feel all around the our edge of your breast, working closer to the center. Feel for a small bean-like lump that seems out of place. Do the same thing on the other side, this time with your right hand behind your head and use your left hand to examine. Your breats should be symmetrical so if there is a small lump in one, and it is in the same place on your other breast, then most likely it is perfectly normal.
