I have a 1988 Jeep Cherokee, every time i stop the vehicle for a few seconds the car stalls or wants to stall, but when I'm driving the vehicle runs well, why

it is your idle on your carburetor it is not cause its old my car is a 1968 valiant and runs great i had the same problem get someone that knows where and how to adjust an idle on your carburetor and get them to raise the rpm's to 1000-1500 rpm's...ahve fun
