The way i got my parents to get me one was by making deals with them. I do this and i get this. Make deals with them and tell them to not break it because you'll break yours. TheHawaiianGod answered Monday April 12 2004, 7:24 pm: well you can secretly get enough money to buy one yourself and then suprise them when you get one, or you can ask people who have a pet how wonderful it is then tell your parents and if your parents just keep saying no just show them how cute, adorable, and cool they realy are and then they will want to get one! Winona1992 answered Monday April 12 2004, 2:04 pm: Be more responsible! Maybe, dont beg, but agree on a routine that will get your pet taken care of. If you beg, you might be annoying so DONT BEG JUST ASK! Try taking care of a friends pet for a weekend and see how well you do! [ Winona1992's advice column | Ask Winona1992 A Question ]
foxshadow answered Monday March 22 2004, 8:39 pm: Are you prepared for the responsibility? If yo think you are, ist your parents down and talk to them about it. Maybe even see if they'll let yu get a fish to start out with. Act more responsible and do things without being asked, this way your parents might just begin to see how responsible you are! :) [ foxshadow's advice column | Ask foxshadow A Question ]
amanda324 answered Monday March 22 2004, 1:04 pm: Getting a pet is a big responsibility. You need to sit down with them and talk about why you want one, and what kind to get. Good luck! [ amanda324's advice column | Ask amanda324 A Question ]
mozogurl answered Sunday March 21 2004, 3:24 pm: What kind of pet do you want? It could be that you are asking for a puppy and your parents do not think that you are responsible enough. You should prove to your parents that you are responsible, by getting good grades,or if you are, tell them. Maybe you could start w/ a goldfish. [ mozogurl's advice column | Ask mozogurl A Question ]
Crystal_0408 answered Sunday March 21 2004, 12:49 pm: If you want a pet, you have to make sure that your parents know that you have complete responsibility. Make sure they know that you will take good care of it. There are a lot of things you must do in order to keep a pet in control. I've had plenty of pets, if you need advice on how to take care of them, just ask.
