lol well it seems to me that you need to keep your parents out of the room until its clean then open it. Try putting all this junk and put it in 1 drawer, like a junk drawer. Then mKE YOUR BED EVERY MORNING and put close on hangers

Same here...for a year i would be a complete neat freak. Have any friends that are neat freaks? Have them over very often. Also...stay out of your room. Keep your room clean by making your messes other places.

Here-To-Help answered Saturday January 10 2004, 3:00 pm:
Organize all your clothes in your dresser. Put all pajamas, underwear and socks in one; then all pants in another, all shirts in another, and hang your dress clothes up in yor closet. Make your bed and make sure to sweep, mop, and vacuum (depending on if you have a rug or not).

Put your shoes neatly under your bed. If you store things in your attic, put some stuff you know you won't be using in a year up there. (plus, you can always bring them down as long as you put them back up there) If you have extra drawers or night stands, you can put extra papers lying around in there. Also, whatever clothes you don't want give to good will because that way you don't have extra things you don't need lying around.

Get a hamper for your room to throw your dirty clothes in instead of throwing them on the floor. Straighten up a little after school or after work if you have a job or something.

Also, if you have a bookshelf you can put all your books neatly on there, and if you have any extra room on the bookshelf because you can fit all of your books on there, you can use the extra shelves for little knick-knacks you have.

I have the same problem as you. I cannot keep my room clean for anything. Every time people come over they mention how messy my room is. I just moved into my brothers old room which is MUCH bigger then the room I used to be in. It's so much better and I finally got a desk to do all my writing and homework on and I keep all extra papers in there. If you have a desk...organize it and put rulers and pencils in the drawers of it.

Also, if you have a television or stereo, dust those off every once in a while and clean your windows off a few times.
If you have a T.V, then shut it off when you're not using it (That's definitly a plus) hehe
Hope I helped

OneMan answered Thursday December 18 2003, 7:13 pm:
Hmmm, how bad do you want this dog? If it's bad enough, then keeping your room clean will not be a problem. Better yet, if you STARTED to keep it clean, then after awhile, it develops into a habit, and that makes it less of a chore. Hmmm, a new GOOD habit AND a dog! What more could you ask for? There's really no magical answer to this, I'm sorry. If you want the dog bad enough, then you'll do what it takes, don't you think? Good luck.

U know what?!? Thats the same thing w/ me but i get a different reward..What i do is i mark down how many days my room has been clean for, when i am bored i clean just a little of it at a time, and when you get something out, put it back, dont lay it anywhere. And when it gets messy, remind yourself about your reward! Thats what i do, and it is pretty clean so far!

sylverwolff answered Wednesday December 10 2003, 12:12 pm:
put pictures of dogs around your room for motivation, get rid of any clutter you don't need (if you haven't used something for the last 4 months or so, you could probably get rid of it and not miss it. If you have no shelves, get some, using boxes for storage and piling them neatly in your closet would help. Good luck

ok heres what u might want to do i have found that if u have like a spot where u can put something every time u use it and it is close to where u use it u should be able to keep ur room clean but that may mean u have to go out and buy like a closet organizer, a bunch of bens to put stuf

All I can say is to hang your clothes up after they're washed and make your bed in the morning. It really is not a hard task to keep up. I used to be the most messiest person, but then when I got my own room and it was real easy to keep up. So if you REALLY want that dog work for it!
