Dreams

Question Posted Saturday December 6 2003, 9:46 pm

Okay,
So I think most of you know about my ex-boyfriend issue. And my last questions subject was "ex-boyfriend gone mad" Well, I have a NEW and better BF, and I told my parents and they talked to my ex-boyfriends parents and sorted everything out, kinda. But now I never get to see my ex-boyfriend. And I'm not crying about it either. But I DO see him in my dreams, and I don't know why! In my dreams he acts like he use to act when we wasn't abusive and lieing. In my dreams he acts like the person that I use to like. But then, toward the end of my dream there's this voice that says to me that he's no longer like that person. And I no that, so why and I having dreams about him?? I need your advice!
Sincerely,
Dream

Becuase on some level, you still feel he's the one for you. Your mind is working on that and showing you all of the good things about him, trying to convince you of that. But, listen to the voice at the end. That's the only right thing I've heard about the dream so far. And remember, the only time you see him acting decently is in a dream which is all your idea of him is.

HI
Really, are you sure you have closed off your feelings with this guy? Coz you should know something, people who have dreams, usually take these dreams and images from real life problems. Mainly yours.

I seriously think you still have feelings for this guy. Yes even though he's such a lieing and abusive BF. It's coz you felt for him so much the last time you are now starting to feel the 'itch' (as some might call it). It happens.

what you need to do, is to stop convincing yourself that you don't have feelings for him and REALLY get rid of them. You will eventually, coz time heals all wounds as cliche as that sounds. Remember that you have a new BF and that the ex wasn't the one for you.

Eventually, you will heal and the dreams will go, but in the meantime, ask yourself if you really still have feelings for him. Remeber, the 1st step to recovery is to first acknowledge that there is an injury.

If you need anymore advice from me you can email me teri_advice@hotmail.com I'd like to hear how your dreams turn out next time! ;)

good luck

Baby girl, its normal for you to dream about your ex. All the dream is saying is that a little part of him is still in you, but that doesn't mean you still like him. So focus on your new BF and life and quite worrying.

Dear dream,
You are having dreams about this guy because because either you are feeling bad about it or its because that is all you are thinking about. Dont think so much.
