my ex and i are very good friends and i have found a new boyfriend. let's call my ex "Chicken" we are very comfortable and open with eachother so i told him about the new guy in my life, who i shall call "Squishy". after, Chicken was very quiet then asked if i love Squishy. What does this mean? he won't tell me.
Let me point out that I love the fact that other people use "Matt", "Jake", "John", etc. and you used Chicken and Squishy. *runs away laughing* [ Turc's advice column | Ask Turc A Question ]

You lose that mate, no matter what the reasson, you're subconsciously going to be jealous of whoever picks her up. [ Blackened's advice column | Ask Blackened A Question ]

He isn't jealous of Squishy per se, but he wasn't expecting replacement. He hasn't found someone new yet, and its probably bothering him that you found another man before he found another woman. Just don't shove anything in his face, be quiet about your new relationship, and let him get used to the idea. [ Advice_Goddess's advice column | Ask Advice_Goddess A Question ]
