Just don't say that all your friends do or something like that. It never works. If that doesn't change her mind, ask her if you can possibly use hair removal cream such as Nair. There is no razor involved. But it may itch when you take it off because it gets in your pores and makes them all red. Rubbing an orange, lime, or lemon on them, or some other citrus fruit will slough off the remaining residue from the cream. Apply some sort of lotion after or the citrus fruit will dry out your skin. Your legs will be super soft and hair free.

KaladaLeigh answered Wednesday May 2 2007, 2:05 pm: I felt the same way.
When I was 11 and 12, I wanted to shave but my mom said I couldn't until I was 14. I felt like it was a looong way to wait, and I was constantly wearing shorts (basketball) and feeling uncomfortable.
Definitely tell your mom how you feel, NO whining, NO complaining, NO yelling! Talk to her calmly and maturly.
Tell her that your bro makes fun of you, and maybe he'll get grounded next time he does it.
But yeah, tell her that you feel like you're ready for the responsibilty of shaving your legs and ask her why she thinks you aren't.
If she still says no, ask her if you can use products that don't require e razor...
like Veet or Nair.
Sally Beauty has a new product, too. You spray it on and the stubble comes off.
Bestfriendswithimforever answered Wednesday May 2 2007, 1:41 pm: My first piece of advice is to sit down with your mother and explain to her, that the appearance of your legs is or will effect how you view yourself, and that you would feel alot more comfortable if you shave. This the key to that though: offer to let her help you pick out shaving products, and then ask her if she could teach you. That way, your mom will not only feel involved in your life, but needed and helpful. My second piece of advice is that you call also look at products that remove leg hair but doesnt require razors.
